So today I decided to redeem my bloggingness lately. Got two kids all geared up to go out "drawing." One in jacket and shoes with marker and paper in hand. One in babybackpack with plug in mouth. After half hour prep work, got to front door to discover pouring rain. The one with marker and paper was not pleased. He began crying. The one with plug in mouth did not notice. Anyway. We did our outside drawing inside. Out Noel's back window. I should do more drawings of the buildings in Hampstead. They are beautiful.

We're all back from Kauai now. And recovering from jetlag. A fantastic trip with not enough drawing. But here's a few... These were some of our neighbors for the first 12 hour leg of our flight out.

We're going to hawaii for a wedding. And packing for an infant and a preschooler has become my full time occpation for the last 2 days. Just managed to figure out "mobile blogging" so I can post from my sister's camera phone while we're away. Maybe I'll even find a few minutes to paint!

Future Football Star

This was from Little Kickers football class today. Picture fifteen 2- and 3-year-olds playing "organized" soccer. The coaches are good. It's a bit like herding cats.
